Summary

Together, the teams crafted a visual identity that reflected ForwardGro's values and mission, from the warm colors to the Main Mark, which was designed to represent both the sun and the extract. The end result was a brand that stood out in the market and made the client feel confident about the future of their new company.

ForwardGro's passion for sunlit grown cannabis, sustainability, Maryland, and sunsets became evident during several brand strategy sessions. These attributes were used as a platform to build the company's visual identity, characterized by warm colors, wistful fonts, and clean design.

The logo was custom-designed in two parts. The primary name and typeface were designed to be approachable and fluid yet distinct from the typical "cold" or "medical" feel of most cannabis products. The second part, the Main Mark, contains two shapes representing the sun and the extract. The Main Mark creates a simple but recognizable shape on which to build a sustainable brand for years to come.
